West Regent Street Glasgow

Scottish Water is planning to carry out major repairs to the sewer network which will require us to close the section of West Regent Street between Hope Street and Renfield Street to all traffic.

Work will start on Monday, 7 July and last approximately 12 weeks. 

There will be a full road closure during the dates above but pedestrian access will be maintained to all properties with the road closure.

During the work you may notice some noise from construction equipment as we operate between 8am and 6pm as well as some weekend working when required.

A section of footpath will eventually be closed but local businesses will remain open as usual. 

We have been liaising with SPT from the early stages of planning of this project to co-ordinate bus diversions within the city centre.

Our delivery partner George Leslie will be carrying out this work on our behalf.
