Shore Road South Queensferry Rising Sewer Main

We have been carrying out an emergency repair on a rising sewer main in South Queensferry, Edinburgh following a burst on Shore Road at the junction with Hopetoun Road.

The repair is now complete and work is underway to reinstate the excavation. Flows are being handled by the nearby pumping station so tankers have been withdrawn and the car park on Rose Lane fully reopened.

Three-way traffic lights remain in operation on Shore Road but we anticipate all works being completed and the lights removed by Friday 25 July at the very latest.
