Work has now been completed on Albion Road and all traffic management has been removed
We have now completed work to repair a collapsed manhole on Albion Road in Edinburgh.
Following extensive intrusive investigations into the cause of the collapse our teams began repairs to the damaged manhole chamber and surrounding ground.
The single-lane closure that was in place on Albion Road has now been removed and the road is fully reopen.
We appreciate this emergency work may have caused some disruption to the local community, and we thank you for your patience and understanding while our teams worked as quickly and safely as possible to resolve this complex issue.
